New Rules of Miss Grand Slam Pageant

April 13, 2010 - Maya Bluebell, Cheif Executive Officer, Miss Grand Slam Organization, announced today that there would be a brand new entry method for the 2nd annual Miss Grand Slam pageant.

Start from this year, the Grand Slam Final would features 120 delegates (previously Top 100) around the globe according to the entry method, however, special spots may served to those stunning contestants if neccessary.

In order to partcipate in the Miss Grand Slam global final, each delegate must win her national title or who placed at least among the semifinalists in their respective pageants, plus, MGSO favorites who did not place. There are 20 contestants from each Grand Slam pageant (Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Universe and Miss World) . These 80 delegates are guaranteed to have a chance to be vote and move on to the Top 50.

The other 40 places would open to other well known pageants like "Miss Tourism Queen International", "Miss Intercontinental", "Miss Hong Kong", "Miss Chinese International", "Miss USA", "Miss Japan" and those strong candidates from the Big 4 and national pageants who lost the chance to make the first cut. These 40 delegates need to have a fierce battle to move on to the Top 50 since there are only 10 places available for them.

In other words, start from Miss Grand Slam 2010, we would cancel the current fast track winner system (i.e. 5 guaranteed spots in the Top 100) of each specific national pageant (Miss Hong Kong, Miss Chinese International, Miss USA and Miss Japan) in order to make a more fair and unbiased competition.

On 29 March 2010, there was a news shocked the pageant world:

was dethroned due to "questionable birth records"

Like many pageant fans, and VR's supporters,

MGSO was so sorry for Miss Raj's dethronement,

as we think that she's our top favorite in this year's MU....

Honestly, how come a renowned pageant organization

would let such ridiculous issue happen?

Namely, discover a questionable birth record after coronation??

which suppose to be founded out in the preliminary process??

We understand that we have nothing to do to fix Miss Raj's crown,

however, as an organization that aim to recognize outstanding stunner,

we have the responsibility to support this gorgeous lady!

Therefore, MGSO announced today that

Miss Maria Venus Raj will automatically granted a place in the

Miss Grand Slam 2010 Top 50,

although she's no more an official representative at the BIG 4.

KOREA TO HOST THE 2010 MISS GRAND SLAM PAGEANT DECEMBER 25th

March 20, 2010 - Maya Bluebell, Cheif Executive Officer, Miss Grand Slam Organization, announced today that the 2nd Annual MISS GRAND SLAM Competition will held in Incheon, Korea. The glamorous event, featuring some of the world's most beautiful women, will take place at The Songdo Convensia on Saturday, December 25th this winter.

Mexican native Perla Beltran, Miss Grand Slam 2009, will crown her successor at the end of this event.

Each contestant from more than 110 countries around the world will be judged in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and top model potential as they vie for the coveted title of Miss Grand Slam 2010.

Once again, Yukari Kuzuya (Miss Universe Japan 2005) will serve as Executive Producer for MISS GRAND SLAM 2010.

Grand Slam Year 2009 - the BIG 4

Before we move on to Miss Grand Slam 2010,

Let's review the results of last year's BIG 4 pageants,

we would like to share our thoughts on the 2009 Big 4 winners:

Miss Universe - Stefania Fernandez

Although people against Venezuela got a back-to-back win,

you cannot denied Stefania is a beauty.

MGSO was quite satisfied with the result!

at least this winner meets the standard of a true beauty.

Miss Earth - Larissa Ramos

Larissa's victory shocked MGSO,

in our vision, she is just an average beauty,

there are way more beautiful girls who should be crowned,

however we are not going to against this result,

because Larissa is definitely what Miss Earth looking for:

not a typical beauty but have a good brain on eco issues?

Miss International - Anagabriela Espinoza

Miss International is the only Big 4 pageant

which got the least news coverage,

with the low public interested,

and the weakest website contents,

doesn't stop their goal to search a true beauty!

You cannot denied Miss international is getting better and better,

in terms of the quality of the winner,

if you don't agree on this statement,

just comparing the recent 5 winners to those previous queens,

and you would able to understand what we mean!

And this year,

Anagabriela's victory edged out the other BIG 4 winners,

and she also made a new high standard for Miss international,

hope her successor can keep such beauty level in the coming year!

Miss World - Kaiane Aldorino

What a BIG disappointment!!

We understand that Miss World got an incoherent beauty standard,

but this time the result is just a JOKE!

In the past 2 years, Zilin & Ksenia

gave a superior credit to Miss World,

and proved that Miss World is a pageant which is

really searching "the most beautiful girl in the world"

However, the legend was broken this year....

Kaiane's victory surprised the world,

we are not going to argue if she is a beauty or not,

we just know that there are tons of other contestants

are prettier than her but got ignored.

Should we blamed the fast track system?

or the dictatorial panel of Ms. Morley?

we just hope the coming Miss World is a true beauty.

Miss Mexico World !!!

Perla beat down over 490 girls around the world this year

in order to achieve this prestigious title!

It's not easy for her to be named

the most gorgeous Miss in 2009,

she actually got a tied score with her runner up

Leah Marville - Miss Barbados World,

both of them got 1718 in the overall scores from the judges.

What makes Perla win is her undeniable beauty,
