FRANCE TO HOST THE 2013 MISS GRAND SLAM PAGEANT

May 25, 2013 - Maya Bluebell, President, Miss Grand Slam Organization, announced today that the 5th Annual MISS GRAND SLAM Competition will held in Paris, France. The glamorous event, featuring some of the world's most beautiful women, will take place at Grand Palais on Wednesday, December 25th this winter.

Russian native Alena Shishkova, Miss Grand Slam 2012, will crown her successor at the end of this event.

Each contestant from more than 110 countries around the world will be judged in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and top model potential as they vie for the coveted title of Miss Grand Slam 2013.

Irina Zhuravskaya (Miss World Ukraine 2008) will serve as Executive Producer for MISS GRAND SLAM 2013.

Grand Slam Year 2012 - the BIG 4

Before we move on to Miss Grand Slam 2013,

Let's review the results of last year's BIG 4 pageants,

we would like to share our thoughts on the 2012 Big 4 winners:

Miss Universe - Olivia Culpo

Although Olivia is one of our favorite in Miss USA,
she is not a Miss Universe material in our opinion.
Honestly we are a bit sad that she won the crown over
other stunners like Chile, Albania, Czech Republic etc.
especially with that awful and granny-ish evening gown.
We also don't buy her girl next door sweetness,
A Miss Universe should be tall and fierce, Next!

Miss World - Wenxia Yu

Happy to see another Asian and Chinese won the title,
but Wenxia should work on her English asap, 
as her speech during the final is vacant.
Ukraine and Wales were so robbed because of 
the pageant system.
Hope Mrs Morley can get her brain back 
next year and crown a real deserved girl like 
Ksenia Sukhinova.
All in all at least we have a beautiful Miss China
win the title not someone like ugly Yuan Siyi
(International China 2010)

Miss International - Ikumi Yoshimatsu

Although we are waiting for a Japanese winner 
for Miss International very long.
Ikumi's victory is really not in a right time (even at right place)
Seriously, ICA should crown their 
very first Japanese winner years ago 
Hisako Shirata (2007), Kyoko Sugiyama (2008),
Yuka Nakayama (2009), Etsuko Kanagae (2010)
are all the better choice than Ikumi.
Some may said Ikumi's final speech made her 
the winner. But Ikumi is really lack of beauty.
Colombia's Melissa should be the real winner that night.

Miss Earth - Tereza Fajksova

Another surprised winner in 2012,
We do see a decline in Miss Earth after Nicole's victory.
Tereza is just a normal girl, not exceptional beauty
Why ME needs to crown her instead of gorgeous 
Thailand, USA, Venezuela and Russia?
Why that plus sized Stephany can be the 1st runner-up?
Honestly this is funny that people tend to treat this pageant
as BIG 3, and downgraded Miss International.
ME could never replace MI as the 3rd place since
her court are always messy with their home girl,
not to say MI got an over 50 years history.
Wake up everyone, face the truth this contest is just a baby!

After a long competition, Miss Grand Slam 2012 is...

Alena Shishkova

Miss Russia!!!

Alena beat down over 544 girls around the world this year

in order to achieve this prestigious title!

It is not easy for her to be named

the most gorgeous Miss in 2012,

because we have so many stunners this season,
Actually in the first few rounds, Miss Universe Czech Republic 
Tereza Chlebovska was leading the game,

However during the Top 15 battle, 
43% of judges think that Alena is the real contender
since then she keeps raising to the top,

with a total of 2031 points, Miss Shishkova finally wins the title!

We do believe what makes Alena win

is her icy beauty, top model aura,

and her exceptional performance in Miss Russia.
