MAURITIUS TO HOST THE 2015 MISS GRAND SLAM PAGEANT

*


July 12, 2015 - Maya Bluebell, President, Miss Grand Slam Organization, announced today that the 7th Annual MISS GRAND SLAM Competition will held in Flic-en-Flac, Mauritius. The glamorous event, featuring some of the world's most beautiful women, will take place at Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa on Friday, December 25th this winter.

Costa Rican native Karina Ramos, Miss Grand Slam 2014, will crown her successor at the end of this event.

Each contestant from more than 110 countries around the world will be judged in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and top model potential as they vie for the coveted title of Miss Grand Slam 2015.

Angela Ruiz (Miss Venezuela 2010 1st runner up) will serve as Executive Producer for MISS GRAND SLAM 2015.

Before we move on to Miss Grand Slam 2015,

Let's review the results of last year's BIG 4 pageants,

we would like to share our thoughts on the 2014 Big 4 winners:

Miss International - Valerie Hernández

Valerie is a surprise winner for MGSO,
we are not sure why MIO would crown her while
there are lots of strong contenders in this edition,
Miss UK and Miss Colombia are way better than her.
Although we are not hating her, 
still want the organization can crown a more deserved winner

Miss Earth - Jamie Herrell

We are happy that Jamie won Miss Earth
ME is finally crowning someone who is beautiful
 however the elemental court is kinda messy
Where's Fiji, Japan and Zambia?

Miss World - Rolene Strauss

Without doubt Rolene is a timeless beauty for the title
She wins fair and square
Our only complain is some beauties 
are missing in the TOP 25
Hope Julia can improve this in the next edition.

Miss Universe - Paulina Vega

Paulina is our favorite in the beginning but 
later on we found that Miss Costa Rica
is much more fierce and suitable for the title.
We are fine with the result in general,
but MUO really needs to give us a better Top 15.

Karina Ramos

Miss Universe Costa Rica!!!

Karina beat down over 565 girls around the world this year

in order to achieve this prestigious title!

It is not easy for her to be named

the most gorgeous Miss in 2014,

because her runner-up Miss Hungary
is a tough competitor 

she was just getting 4% more scores 
in the final round to win the coveted title

We do believe what makes Karina win

is her modern face and self confident,

and her exceptional performance in Miss Universe.

Say Goodbye to the Queens - 2013

Before we welcome our new winner to her throne,

It's time to say goodbye to our fabulous ladies in the MGS Court 2013,

All the queens did a wonderful job in the past year,

especially our 5th winner Miss Megan Young,

made a positive role model for the world,

MGSO will always miss your reign,

and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
